FALL IS ALMOST HERE! YAY!!!!

September 5th was my birthday so I had to share my favorite cake!!!

LETS GET TO THE QUESTIONS!!!

1.) Mood: I'm either getting a cold or my allergies are bad b/c of the weather change but I'm just ugh :/

2.) What are you looking forward to most today?

my hubby to come home! I miss him!

3.) Someone is bringing you breakfast in bed, what is on the perfect tray?
Blueberry Greek Yogurt, a bannana, a glass of OJ (no pulp ewww) and a pastry with raspberry filling!

4.) Current nail polish:
OPI's I Have a Herring Problem! Perfect color for fall

5.) Where do you keep your handbag when you are home?
I have a hook to hang it on in my bedroom

6.) Current outfit:
jeans and a v-neck tshirt!

7.) If you could try on any celeb's hairstyle for a day, whose would you choose?
Hmm I really loved Katy Perry's hair when it was dark purple! I would never have the guts to do it but it would be fun!

8.) Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed?

always closed!

9.) What is the last beauty product you finished?
Revlon's Sugar Frosting Lip Butter! I love that stuff! Luckily I found another one in my stash!
10.) Weekly goals:

~*DIY FRENCH MANICURE*~

I have always loved the look for a french manicure but spending $10 each time at the salon can add up to big bucks! $$$

I saw this Sally Hansen French Manicure pen @ Target for $4.99 and I had to try it!

The French Manicure Pen claims to draw on a salon-perfect, traditional French white tips at home with just one stroke!

It took me more then a couple of times to get the polish straight across the nail but when I messed up it came off fine with a paper towel and water without ruining my base coat.

I found that using the side of the tip worked better to get the line across the nail then using the rounded part of the brush.

I've been loving the Revlon Colorstay top and base coat ($8 each)! My nails look uber shiny and have made my polish last longer than with other top coats! If you're a nail polish junkie you need to try this combo!

I used 3 coats of Essie's Sugar Daddy ($8) and it's the perfect sheer pink for a french manicure!

I'm really happy with this look! I think it looks very fresh, clean and chic!

Would I recommend this product: YES! You have to practice a couple of times but once you get use to it it's pretty simple! Practice makes perfect! (wink)

This dress is so comfy!

I got this dress at Kmart from the Route 66 line and I love it!

I love the lace detail in the back! So pretty and girly! I am wearing an oatmeal tank top from Kmart under the dress it went perfect with the lace!

I recently got these Daisy Earrings from Jewelmint and I love them!! I have so much hair so it's nice that you can see them through all my hair! They are about 1 in wide and is a nice flower earring for all year around!!

I can't believe it's August 28th! I'm so excited for fall! It's the best season of the year!!!

1.) Mood: I'm very happy today! I went to the doctor on Friday and I found out I've lost 32lbs since March!!! I'm so happy! Hard work always prevails in the end!

2.) What is your favorite article of clothing to shop for? I love shopping for dresses! They're great to have when you can't think of what to wear and so comfy!


3.) Three hours ago, I was watching Tia and Tamera on Style! I love that show.


4.) Current nail polish: Bevin from Zoya! NOTD coming soon!!

5.) When is the last time you read an actual paper newspaper (not digital)? Yesterday! I was looking for coupons!


6.) Current outfit: PJS!

7.) What is your natural hair texture? Straight and very very thick!

8.) Would you rather go a week without your phone or a week without your computer? I would go without my computer because I have internet on my cellphone!

9.) What is your favorite musical? WICKED!!!!

10.) Weekly goals:

I got them  from TJ Maxx and they're from Jessica Simpson originally $60 on clearance for $10!! I love that they're beige but have almost a gold sheen to them! So pretty!

I thought this brown belt would be the perfect marriage with this shirt! It's definitely a fall essential to have a brown belt in your wardrobe! I got the belt at Target for $4 about a year ago!

I am in love with this top! I first saw it at JcPenny for $30 so I decided to wait! I'm glad I did b/c I went a couple of weeks ago and it was on clearance for $4! I couldn't believe it!

The jeggings are from the Forever21+ line and they were $11.50. I'm wearing the color denim but I need to go back and get the black! They are soo comfy and fit me right!!! It's so hard to find jeans/jeggings that fit me so I need to stock up!

~*Monday Questionare: 08/20/12*~

I'm a huge fan of Alison also known as amarixe on blogspot/youtube and if you haven't checked her out you should!

She is always very informative when it comes to makeup and she's so pretty and seems down to earth!

This video is one of my favorites that Alison has filmed! The look is very fresh and light!

I LOVE her blog and I have been enjoying her monday questionares with different questions every Monday! So I thought I would start doing them every monday and encourage you to them too so we can all get to know each other a lil more :)

*LET'S BEGIN*

1.) Mood: I'm pretty happy today! We are having fall like weather and so refreshing not to be sweating constantly haha

2.) What was your favorite board game as a kid?
I love Candyland! I could've played that game for hours :)

3.) Do you like your current hairstyle/color?
I'm loving the length of my hair! I was so used to having it really long but it's looks really nice now with layers. I haven't dyed my hair in over 2 years so now it's back to my natural color dark brown and I LOVE it! I don't plan on dyeing anytime soon.

4.) Current nail polish:

I did a french manicure on my nails a couple of days ago and I love it!

5.) When is the last time you went to a theme park?

I haven't been to a theme park in at least 10 years. I'm not a huge fan of rides so there's really no point in going if you don't want to ride the rides right?

 6.) Current outfit:

sweats and a t-shirt! I like being comfy at home :)

 7.) You're at a movie theatre... what snack do you get?

When my hubby and I go to the movies once in awhile we share a small popcorn but sometimes I sneak in some snacks! shhhh ;) I wish they had healthier snacks so I wouldn't have to do that but sometimes I bring almonds or some dried fruits :)

8.) What is one makeup tip you wish you knew 2 years ago?
washing your face everyday! don't forget! :)

9.) What is a really classic/popular movie you have never seen?
I've never seen the Star Wars series but I have seen the Family Guy Star Wars movies! haha I love Family Guy

10.) Weekly goals:

~take a walk everyday

~blog everyday

~lose at least one pound
